Waiting for her turn to play basketball at Uncle Tommy's!

Pushing cousin Tommy...  right into Grandpa's car!  oops.

Easter egg hunting, serious business.

We had a great day!  Brunch at Uncle Tommy & Auntie Arwen's house, then lunch with the Wickman Family.

Go Away Winter!

Go away winter and leave me alone..
I'm tired of being chilled to the bone.
I want to plant flowers and sit in the sun
I want to go swimming "winters no fun!"
I want to open up windows and doors
I want to go barefoot and do summer chores
I want to mow grass and sit in the sun
I want to plant gardens and have summer fun.
So go away winter and just leave me be
Summer is where I now want to be...

Ruby has been hanging out on the dog bed with Drake a lot

Road Trip, #1

Daddy asks Ruby,
"Are you ready for a long road trip?"
Ruby throws her hands up and says,
"all done!"

That was about an hour into the trip!

Savanna, Georgia - Here we come!

Daddy and Baby, what a cute pair!
Savannah trolley tour, Ruby loved it.  At the very start of the tour we pulled up to a stop light, a van full of people next to us spotted Ruby - waiving at them - and were all smiles, waiving back.  Very cute.  She can even make a bus full of strangers smile!

The gang.

Now for the ocean and Folly Beach, South Carolina!

Getting ready for the beach!

No fear, loved the sand, sun and water!  My girl...

The end.  ha ha...

A trip to Fort Sumter

Watch out, that girl's got a cannon!

More beach time.

We left Folly Beach and headed toward Nashville to see Auntie Paula and Cousin Rachel.  Let me just say...  A wonderful visit with family, awesome Mexican food for dinner, an extremely restfull nights sleep, and some killer coffee in the morning...  Thank you, thank you!  You guys are awesome!
Ruby found the Endemann dog bed to be quite comfortable!

Lastly, a stop in Metropolis, Illinois on the way home...
Ruby's a little hard to see in the photo, but she's throwing up one arm in an attempt to show that she's "so big"!
To Lisa and Shawn: of course couldn't help but think of you guys while visiting Superman!

Flat Audrey

Audrey's flat self came to for a visit and has safely made it back to Colorado!  Flat Audrey was her flat version of Flat Stanley.  For those of you unfamiliar with Flat Stanley's story, here's the skinny... :)  By author Jeff Brown.  Stanley woke up one day flat after being squashed by a billboard.  He and his family learned to consider this positive thing considering his "squshedness" enabled him to fly like a kite, slip under doors, and travel by mail.  Flat Stanley himself and many different versions have traveled the globe and his travels have been documented in photos and journals.  Here is Flat Audrey's Montgomery Illinois trip, in photos:
