Fairy Photos

JCPenney suckered me into a special fairy photo shoot for the girls... It was impossible to get a shot of the two of them together - but overall they are pretty cute. Ruby had fun, and that's all that matters, right!? Next up: Fiona's 3 month photos.

Ruby loves almost everything about her baby sister. She loves helping change diapers, reading to her, bouncing her in the chair, helping the swing sway her, holding her, and singing to her! ...just to name a few things...

Beautiful Girls

Ruby is still an awesome big sister, I hope she doesn't get tired of it! Fiona is four weeks old today. Four weeks! I really need a pause button on a remote control for life. Is there such a thing?

In Ruby's Words

Ruby is an amazing big sister! She is as gentle as a two year old can be with a newborn, kisses her baby all the time, nuzzles with her, and sings to her! I'm so in love with these girls.

Here are a few things Ruby has been saying lately:

"Row row row your boat, gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily merrily life is BUTTER DREAM!"
Then the discussion, "Butter dream, no butter dream"
(insert adorable girly toddler giggles here)

When taking my blood pressure with her play medical kit, "Over 42b, you're good." Then checking my temperature with same kit, "You got a smiley face, you're good!" Rechecking my temperature, hoping to get a reaction out of me, "Uhoh, sad face, where's Mr. Big Shot? You need injection" This is Mr. Big Shot:

Talking about Fiona: "Where's my baby? What she doing? She love me!"

She sings the most fabulous version of "I'm the Map", from Dora the Explorer. You just have to ask her to sing it for you.

She'll ask ANYONE... "Hey you (name), what doin'?"
