Ahhhh.... two.

Scene:  Daddy driving, Momma passenger, Ruby in her carseat. 

Ruby:  Eating a snack in the wrapper, starts crying a very fake but convincing cry that she can't get to the bottom part of the snack stuck in the wrapper.

Momma:  "Here Ruby, give it to me, I'll fix it."

Ruby:  Happily eating remainder of snack, smiles, "Ruby cry, Momma fix, Ruby eat".


* While I have a great appreciation for her vocabulary skills at this age, I'm pretty sure she just realized that she has Toddler Power!

24 hour bug?

More like the 4 day bug...  She was sick, then better, then worse, then awesome, and more vomit...  So we headed to the ER to make sure she was fine.  It was a little odd to present Ruby to the ER, all smiles, as chatty as ever, but sick for sure...  Stomach bug, we'll get you!

She waited, very impatiently I might add, for this popsicle!  She received some anti-vomiting meds first, then had to wait, what might have been the longest 15 minutes of our lives for the popsicle the nurse promised!  Now to wait and see if it will stay down...

Just like Paiya (aka Grandpa Lyp), loves her popsicle!

This is serious business, getting healthy, you know...

That was Sunday, and today - just one day later - all better!

A Few Things

Miss Ruby posed for some picture with Grayson and Seth before Bob and Marisa's wedding.  What a cute bunch of kids! 

Time for pumpkins!  We took two little tractor/train rides, this one was REALLY bumpy!

 This was much smoother, it took us out to the pumpkin patch, where we decided to stay in the ride, 

it was quite muddy this day!

 Look Ma, no hands!  Seriously, she was doing this while it was in motion!  Such a daredevil!

This is her new 'look', its the, "Hmmm..." pose, like she's pondering some serious thought.  Finger on chin and all, very silly!

I was terrified I was going to regret this project at home, but went through with it anyway...  This is her 'smock', to protect her and her clothes from...  PAINT!!!  I know, what was I thinking...

 She did awesome!  I cut out some leaves out of colored paper and she finger painted them.  My little artist!
